Plain pod kit IQOS in Suva: the budget shortlist
Plain in Suva: 9 units tested over 2 weeks, pod kit formats, priced per 10 ml for Fiji.
Where buyers go wrong with plain in Fiji
There is no single best way to buy IQOS in Fiji. There is only the batch that arrived, the coil that came with it, and whether the shop tracks the production run.
Plain pod kit reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 9 units and 2 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
Below is the run we did for this search: 9 units, pod kit, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a plain pod kit really costs in Suva
Plain in a pod kit is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Suva the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
How we tested plain in a pod kit
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Fiji, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Pick the pod kit that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 6–12 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Stock depth: 9 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a pod kit arrives sealed but wrong.
- Spare parts availability for pod kit in Fiji, since tanks and pods go first.
Where plain goes wrong
- Buying the cheapest pod kit available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in Fiji accept nicotine freight.
- Mixing plain with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
The rules that apply here
Fiji restricts imports of nicotine products under its customs framework. Shipping of nicotine to Fiji runs through tracked freight only, which is why the quoted window is stated per order.
Packaging for plain in Fiji must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.

Frequently asked questions
Why does plain taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the pod kit units we ran, a coil past 4 days turned the plain blend itself harsh.
What nicotine strength should plain start at?
Start at whatever Fiji allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a pod kit.
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On plain the budget price and the premium price can sit within FJ$2.66 per 10 ml once 6–12 business days is counted.
