Plain squonk mod IQOS in Suva: the wholesale shortlist
Plain in Suva: 9 units tested over 3 weeks, squonk mod formats, priced per 10 ml for Fiji.
Stock, batch codes and the dispatch window
Plain prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Suva that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within FJ$3.29 per 10 ml.
Most people searching IQOS in Fiji are not after a spec sheet. They want to know what it costs, how long it lasts and which shop will still service it in three months.
The short version: plain in Suva works if the squonk mod, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a plain squonk mod really costs in Suva
Plain in a squonk mod is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Suva the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
How we tested plain in a squonk mod
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Fiji, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in Fiji, not a suggestion.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every plain bottle shipped into Fiji.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 6–12 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
Where plain goes wrong
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Chasing a discount on a squonk mod that then needs an adapter nobody in Fiji stocks.
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long plain in Suva survives.
The rules that apply here
Retail sales in Fiji sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.
Packaging for plain in Fiji must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.
