Plum mesh tank IQOS in Suva: the budget shortlist
Plum in Suva: 23 units tested over 6 weeks, mesh tank formats, priced per 10 ml for Fiji.
Coil life, liquid cost and the plum habit
A plum mesh tank from the budget options in Fiji costs about FJ$3.31 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
Plum in a mesh tank is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Suva the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
Below is the run we did for this search: 23 units, mesh tank, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a plum mesh tank really costs in Suva
The honest read on plum: 23 units through the same routine over 6 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
How we tested plum in a mesh tank
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Fiji, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Pick the mesh tank that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a mesh tank arrives sealed but wrong.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every plum bottle shipped into Fiji.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in Fiji, not a suggestion.
Where plum goes wrong
- Buying the cheapest mesh tank available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Ignoring the batch date on a mesh tank and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Treating the advertised FJ$35 entry kit as the real cost when refills run FJ$3.31 per 10 ml.
The rules that apply here
Retail sales in Fiji sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.
Fiji restricts imports of nicotine products under its customs framework.
