Plum RDA IQOS in Suva: the best shortlist
Plum in Suva: 19 units tested over 2 weeks, RDA formats, priced per 10 ml for Fiji.
What plum costs in Suva
The honest read on plum: 19 units through the same routine over 2 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
Plum prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Suva that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within FJ$3.22 per 10 ml.
The short version: plum in Suva works if the RDA, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a plum RDA really costs in Suva
Plum sounds like one product. It is not: a RDA running varies will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
How we tested plum in a RDA
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Fiji, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 6–12 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Spare parts availability for RDA in Fiji, since tanks and pods go first.
- Batch code and production date, so a plum bottle turned in 2 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in Fiji, not a suggestion.
Where plum goes wrong
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long plum in Suva survives.
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Buying the cheapest RDA available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
The rules that apply here
Fiji restricts imports of nicotine products under its customs framework. Shipping of nicotine to Fiji runs through tracked freight only, which is why the quoted window is stated per order.
Packaging for plum in Fiji must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.

Frequently asked questions
Why does plum taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the RDA units we ran, a coil past 6 days turned the plum blend itself harsh.
What nicotine strength should plum start at?
Start at whatever Fiji allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a RDA.
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On plum the budget price and the premium price can sit within FJ$3.22 per 10 ml once 6–12 business days is counted.
