Home / Plum RDA IQOS in Suva: the deals shortlist

Coil life, liquid cost and the plum habit

A plum RDA from the discounted options in Fiji costs about FJ$3.58 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.

Plum RDA reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 7 units and 9 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.

If you only read one line: the RDA you buy decides how long plum tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.

What a plum RDA really costs in Suva

We run plum the same way in Suva: same RDA, same 9 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.

How we tested plum in a RDA

1. Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
2. Pick the RDA that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
3. Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.

• A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
• The landed price per 10 ml after 6–12 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
• Batch code and production date, so a plum bottle turned in 9 weeks ago is not sold as new.
• Spare parts availability for RDA in Fiji, since tanks and pods go first.

Where plum goes wrong

• Mixing plum with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
• Treating the advertised FJ$66 entry kit as the real cost when refills run FJ$3.58 per 10 ml.
• Chasing a discount on a RDA that then needs an adapter nobody in Fiji stocks.

The rules that apply here

Fiji restricts imports of nicotine products under its customs framework.

Packaging for plum in Fiji must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.
