Plum squonk mod IQOS in Suva: the review shortlist
Plum in Suva: 24 units tested over 7 weeks, squonk mod formats, priced per 10 ml for Fiji.
Choosing a squonk mod for plum
A plum squonk mod from the reviewed options in Fiji costs about FJ$2.11 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
Most people searching IQOS in Fiji are not after a spec sheet. They want to know what it costs, how long it lasts and which shop will still service it in three months.
The short version: plum in Suva works if the squonk mod, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a plum squonk mod really costs in Suva
Plum prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Suva that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within FJ$2.11 per 10 ml.
How we tested plum in a squonk mod
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Fiji, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Coil type inside the squonk mod, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in Fiji, not a suggestion.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 6–12 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Batch code and production date, so a plum bottle turned in 7 weeks ago is not sold as new.
Where plum goes wrong
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long plum in Suva survives.
- Mixing plum with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.

Frequently asked questions
How long does plum in a squonk mod last?
In Suva we measured 7 to 24 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
Why does plum taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the squonk mod units we ran, a coil past 7 days turned the plum blend itself harsh.
What nicotine strength should plum start at?
Start at whatever Fiji allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a squonk mod.
