Choosing a vape pen for plum
We run plum the same way in Suva: same vape pen, same 6 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
We run plum the same way in Suva: same vape pen, same 6 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
If you only read one line: the vape pen you buy decides how long plum tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a plum vape pen really costs in Suva
Plum sounds like one product. It is not: a vape pen running varies will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
How we tested plum in a vape pen
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Pick the vape pen that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Coil type inside the vape pen, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every plum bottle shipped into Fiji.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a vape pen arrives sealed but wrong.
Where plum goes wrong
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long plum in Suva survives.
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in Fiji accept nicotine freight.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why plum tastes flat after two days.
The rules that apply here
Retail sales in Fiji sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.
Wholesale lines to Fiji need import documents the retail shop does not; ask for them in writing before a bulk order.

Frequently asked questions
How much does a vape pen cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in Suva: about FJ$2.17 per 10 ml liquid plus FJ$39 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
Is plum legal to sell in Fiji?
Fiji restricts imports of nicotine products under its customs framework.
Why does plum taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the vape pen units we ran, a coil past 5 days turned the plum blend itself harsh.
