Salted box mod IQOS in Suva: the guide shortlist
Salted in Suva: 9 units tested over 7 weeks, box mod formats, priced per 10 ml for Fiji.
What the label on Salted is allowed to say
Salted sounds like one product. It is not: a box mod running varies will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
A salted box mod from the starter options in Fiji costs about FJ$2.66 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
If you only read one line: the box mod you buy decides how long salted tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a salted box mod really costs in Suva
Salted sounds like one product. It is not: a box mod running varies will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
How we tested salted in a box mod
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Fiji, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Pick the box mod that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Coil type inside the box mod, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Spare parts availability for box mod in Fiji, since tanks and pods go first.
- Stock depth: 9 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 6–12 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
Where salted goes wrong
- Mixing salted with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long salted in Suva survives.
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in Fiji accept nicotine freight.
The rules that apply here
Fiji restricts imports of nicotine products under its customs framework. Shipping of nicotine to Fiji runs through tracked freight only, which is why the quoted window is stated per order.

Frequently asked questions
Why does salted taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the box mod units we ran, a coil past 4 days turned the salted blend itself harsh.
How much does a box mod cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in Suva: about FJ$2.66 per 10 ml liquid plus FJ$38 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On salted the budget price and the premium price can sit within FJ$2.66 per 10 ml once 6–12 business days is counted.
