Salted nicotine salt bottle IQOS in Suva: the cheap shortlist
Salted in Suva: 14 units tested over 4 weeks, nicotine salt bottle formats, priced per 10 ml for Fiji.
Choosing a nicotine salt bottle for salted
The honest read on salted: 14 units through the same routine over 4 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
Most people searching IQOS in Fiji are not after a spec sheet. They want to know what it costs, how long it lasts and which shop will still service it in three months.
The short version: salted in Suva works if the nicotine salt bottle, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a salted nicotine salt bottle really costs in Suva
If you are looking at salted in Fiji, the first question is not strength. It is whether the nicotine salt bottle you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
How we tested salted in a nicotine salt bottle
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Pick the nicotine salt bottle that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Fiji, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Stock depth: 14 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Coil type inside the nicotine salt bottle, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Batch code and production date, so a salted bottle turned in 4 weeks ago is not sold as new.
Where salted goes wrong
- Treating the advertised FJ$35 entry kit as the real cost when refills run FJ$2.02 per 10 ml.
- Mixing salted with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why salted tastes flat after two days.
The rules that apply here
