Salted pen device IQOS in Suva: the compare shortlist
Salted in Suva: 6 units tested over 3 weeks, pen device formats, priced per 10 ml for Fiji.
Delivery, returns and what 6–12 business days really means
A salted pen device from the compared options in Fiji costs about FJ$3.01 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
Salted sounds like one product. It is not: a pen device running varies will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
The short version: salted in Suva works if the pen device, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a salted pen device really costs in Suva
We run salted the same way in Suva: same pen device, same 3 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
How we tested salted in a pen device
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Fiji, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Batch code and production date, so a salted bottle turned in 3 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 6–12 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every salted bottle shipped into Fiji.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in Fiji, not a suggestion.
Where salted goes wrong
- Chasing a discount on a pen device that then needs an adapter nobody in Fiji stocks.
- Treating the advertised FJ$40 entry kit as the real cost when refills run FJ$3.01 per 10 ml.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why salted tastes flat after two days.
