Salted pen device IQOS in Suva: the wholesale shortlist
Salted in Suva: 17 units tested over 5 weeks, pen device formats, priced per 10 ml for Fiji.
Coil life, liquid cost and the salted habit
Salted pen device reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 17 units and 5 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
Salted prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Suva that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within FJ$2.16 per 10 ml.
If you only read one line: the pen device you buy decides how long salted tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a salted pen device really costs in Suva
Salted in a pen device is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Suva the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
How we tested salted in a pen device
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Fiji, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Pick the pen device that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every salted bottle shipped into Fiji.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 6–12 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in Fiji, not a suggestion.
- Stock depth: 17 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
Where salted goes wrong
- Chasing a discount on a pen device that then needs an adapter nobody in Fiji stocks.
- Ignoring the batch date on a pen device and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Treating the advertised FJ$62 entry kit as the real cost when refills run FJ$2.16 per 10 ml.
The rules that apply here
Wholesale lines to Fiji need import documents the retail shop does not; ask for them in writing before a bulk order.
Retail sales in Fiji sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.
