Salted pod kit IQOS in Suva: the price shortlist
Salted in Suva: 15 units tested over 9 weeks, pod kit formats, priced per 10 ml for Fiji.
Stock, batch codes and the dispatch window
The honest read on salted: 15 units through the same routine over 9 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
Salted sounds like one product. It is not: a pod kit running varies will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
The short version: salted in Suva works if the pod kit, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a salted pod kit really costs in Suva
If you are looking at salted in Fiji, the first question is not strength. It is whether the pod kit you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
How we tested salted in a pod kit
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Fiji, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Pick the pod kit that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Stock depth: 15 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every salted bottle shipped into Fiji.
- Coil type inside the pod kit, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
Where salted goes wrong
- Mixing salted with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Chasing a discount on a pod kit that then needs an adapter nobody in Fiji stocks.
- Treating the advertised FJ$42 entry kit as the real cost when refills run FJ$3.04 per 10 ml.
The rules that apply here
Fiji restricts imports of nicotine products under its customs framework.
Retail sales in Fiji sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.

Frequently asked questions
How long does salted in a pod kit last?
In Suva we measured 9 to 15 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On salted the budget price and the premium price can sit within FJ$3.04 per 10 ml once 6–12 business days is counted.
Why does salted taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the pod kit units we ran, a coil past 5 days turned the salted blend itself harsh.
