Salted RDA IQOS in Suva: the flat shortlist
Salted in Suva: 9 units tested over 8 weeks, RDA formats, priced per 10 ml for Fiji.
Coil life, liquid cost and the salted habit
We run salted the same way in Suva: same RDA, same 8 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
A salted RDA from the flat-rate options in Fiji costs about FJ$2.38 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
Below is the run we did for this search: 9 units, RDA, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a salted RDA really costs in Suva
There is no single best way to buy IQOS in Fiji. There is only the batch that arrived, the coil that came with it, and whether the shop tracks the production run.
How we tested salted in a RDA
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Fiji, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a RDA arrives sealed but wrong.
- Spare parts availability for RDA in Fiji, since tanks and pods go first.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Batch code and production date, so a salted bottle turned in 8 weeks ago is not sold as new.
Where salted goes wrong
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in Fiji accept nicotine freight.
- Treating the advertised FJ$64 entry kit as the real cost when refills run FJ$2.38 per 10 ml.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why salted tastes flat after two days.
The rules that apply here
Packaging for salted in Fiji must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.
Fiji restricts imports of nicotine products under its customs framework. Shipping of nicotine to Fiji runs through tracked freight only, which is why the quoted window is stated per order.
