Salted refill pack IQOS in Suva: the cheap shortlist
Salted in Suva: 8 units tested over 9 weeks, refill pack formats, priced per 10 ml for Fiji.
How to tell a good refill pack from a repack
Salted prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Suva that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within FJ$2.76 per 10 ml.
Salted in Suva reaches the shelf in refill pack formats, and the cheapest ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
The short version: salted in Suva works if the refill pack, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a salted refill pack really costs in Suva
Salted in Suva reaches the shelf in refill pack formats, and the cheapest ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
How we tested salted in a refill pack
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Fiji, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Pick the refill pack that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 6–12 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every salted bottle shipped into Fiji.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Batch code and production date, so a salted bottle turned in 9 weeks ago is not sold as new.
Where salted goes wrong
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Treating the advertised FJ$58 entry kit as the real cost when refills run FJ$2.76 per 10 ml.
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in Fiji accept nicotine freight.
