Salted squonk mod IQOS in Suva: the deals shortlist
Salted in Suva: 15 units tested over 6 weeks, squonk mod formats, priced per 10 ml for Fiji.
What salted costs in Suva
Salted in a squonk mod is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Suva the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
If you are looking at salted in Fiji, the first question is not strength. It is whether the squonk mod you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
The short version: salted in Suva works if the squonk mod, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a salted squonk mod really costs in Suva
Most people searching IQOS in Fiji are not after a spec sheet. They want to know what it costs, how long it lasts and which shop will still service it in three months.
How we tested salted in a squonk mod
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Pick the squonk mod that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in Fiji, not a suggestion.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every salted bottle shipped into Fiji.
- Batch code and production date, so a salted bottle turned in 6 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
Where salted goes wrong
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Treating the advertised FJ$58 entry kit as the real cost when refills run FJ$2.41 per 10 ml.
- Ignoring the batch date on a squonk mod and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
The rules that apply here
Fiji restricts imports of nicotine products under its customs framework. Shipping of nicotine to Fiji runs through tracked freight only, which is why the quoted window is stated per order.
Retail sales in Fiji sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.
