Sour box mod IQOS in Suva: the cheap shortlist
Sour in Suva: 18 units tested over 2 weeks, box mod formats, priced per 10 ml for Fiji.
How we tested Sour box mod here
There is no single best way to buy IQOS in Fiji. There is only the batch that arrived, the coil that came with it, and whether the shop tracks the production run.
Sour prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Suva that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within FJ$2.4 per 10 ml.
If you only read one line: the box mod you buy decides how long sour tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a sour box mod really costs in Suva
The honest read on sour: 18 units through the same routine over 2 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
How we tested sour in a box mod
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Fiji, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Pick the box mod that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a box mod arrives sealed but wrong.
- Coil type inside the box mod, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Stock depth: 18 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
Where sour goes wrong
- Chasing a discount on a box mod that then needs an adapter nobody in Fiji stocks.
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in Fiji accept nicotine freight.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why sour tastes flat after two days.
The rules that apply here
Fiji restricts imports of nicotine products under its customs framework.
Packaging for sour in Fiji must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.

Frequently asked questions
Why does sour taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the box mod units we ran, a coil past 6 days turned the sour blend itself harsh.
Do you ship tracked orders to Fiji?
Yes, tracked to 6–12 business days, with the same-day cut-off at 14:00. Bulk orders get an import note attached before dispatch.
How long does sour in a box mod last?
In Suva we measured 2 to 18 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
