Sour RDA IQOS in Suva: the best shortlist
Sour in Suva: 22 units tested over 9 weeks, RDA formats, priced per 10 ml for Fiji.
Choosing a RDA for sour
Sour in Suva reaches the shelf in RDA formats, and the best ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
We run sour the same way in Suva: same RDA, same 9 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
Below is the run we did for this search: 22 units, RDA, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a sour RDA really costs in Suva
There is no single best way to buy IQOS in Fiji. There is only the batch that arrived, the coil that came with it, and whether the shop tracks the production run.
How we tested sour in a RDA
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Pick the RDA that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every sour bottle shipped into Fiji.
- Stock depth: 22 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Spare parts availability for RDA in Fiji, since tanks and pods go first.
Where sour goes wrong
- Treating the advertised FJ$64 entry kit as the real cost when refills run FJ$2.02 per 10 ml.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why sour tastes flat after two days.
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in Fiji accept nicotine freight.
The rules that apply here
Fiji restricts imports of nicotine products under its customs framework. Shipping of nicotine to Fiji runs through tracked freight only, which is why the quoted window is stated per order.

Frequently asked questions
Why does sour taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the RDA units we ran, a coil past 7 days turned the sour blend itself harsh.
How much does a RDA cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in Suva: about FJ$2.02 per 10 ml liquid plus FJ$64 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On sour the budget price and the premium price can sit within FJ$2.02 per 10 ml once 6–12 business days is counted.
