Sour squonk mod IQOS in Suva: the price shortlist
Sour in Suva: 8 units tested over 7 weeks, squonk mod formats, priced per 10 ml for Fiji.
How we tested Sour squonk mod here
Sour in a squonk mod is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Suva the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
We run sour the same way in Suva: same squonk mod, same 7 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
If you only read one line: the squonk mod you buy decides how long sour tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a sour squonk mod really costs in Suva
Sour in Suva reaches the shelf in squonk mod formats, and the value ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
How we tested sour in a squonk mod
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Pick the squonk mod that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 6–12 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in Fiji, not a suggestion.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a squonk mod arrives sealed but wrong.
Where sour goes wrong
- Ignoring the batch date on a squonk mod and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Buying the cheapest squonk mod available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in Fiji accept nicotine freight.
The rules that apply here

Frequently asked questions
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On sour the budget price and the premium price can sit within FJ$2.06 per 10 ml once 6–12 business days is counted.
What nicotine strength should sour start at?
Start at whatever Fiji allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a squonk mod.
Why does sour taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the squonk mod units we ran, a coil past 6 days turned the sour blend itself harsh.
