Sour starter kit IQOS in Suva: the budget shortlist
Sour in Suva: 9 units tested over 2 weeks, starter kit formats, priced per 10 ml for Fiji.
What the label on Sour is allowed to say
Sour in a starter kit is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Suva the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
A sour starter kit from the budget options in Fiji costs about FJ$2.39 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
Below is the run we did for this search: 9 units, starter kit, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a sour starter kit really costs in Suva
We run sour the same way in Suva: same starter kit, same 2 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
How we tested sour in a starter kit
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Fiji, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 6–12 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Coil type inside the starter kit, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Batch code and production date, so a sour bottle turned in 2 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Stock depth: 9 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
Where sour goes wrong
- Ignoring the batch date on a starter kit and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Buying the cheapest starter kit available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in Fiji accept nicotine freight.
The rules that apply here
Packaging for sour in Fiji must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.
Fiji restricts imports of nicotine products under its customs framework. Shipping of nicotine to Fiji runs through tracked freight only, which is why the quoted window is stated per order.

Frequently asked questions
Do you ship tracked orders to Fiji?
Yes, tracked to 6–12 business days, with the same-day cut-off at 14:00. Bulk orders get an import note attached before dispatch.
Is sour legal to sell in Fiji?
Fiji restricts imports of nicotine products under its customs framework.
Why does sour taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the starter kit units we ran, a coil past 7 days turned the sour blend itself harsh.
