Sweet pen device IQOS in Suva: the deals shortlist
Sweet in Suva: 10 units tested over 7 weeks, pen device formats, priced per 10 ml for Fiji.
What sweet costs in Suva
Sweet prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Suva that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within FJ$1.73 per 10 ml.
The honest read on sweet: 10 units through the same routine over 7 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
The short version: sweet in Suva works if the pen device, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a sweet pen device really costs in Suva
Sweet pen device reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 10 units and 7 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
How we tested sweet in a pen device
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Pick the pen device that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Fiji, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Coil type inside the pen device, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every sweet bottle shipped into Fiji.
- Batch code and production date, so a sweet bottle turned in 7 weeks ago is not sold as new.
Where sweet goes wrong
- Ignoring the batch date on a pen device and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Buying the cheapest pen device available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
The rules that apply here
Fiji restricts imports of nicotine products under its customs framework.
Retail sales in Fiji sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.
