Tobacco 30 ml shortfill IQOS in Suva: the compare shortlist
Tobacco in Suva: 10 units tested over 2 weeks, 30 ml shortfill formats, priced per 10 ml for Fiji.
Choosing a 30 ml shortfill for tobacco
Tobacco prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Suva that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within FJ$2.43 per 10 ml.
If you are looking at tobacco in Fiji, the first question is not strength. It is whether the 30 ml shortfill you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
Below is the run we did for this search: 10 units, 30 ml shortfill, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a tobacco 30 ml shortfill really costs in Suva
Tobacco in a 30 ml shortfill is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Suva the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
How we tested tobacco in a 30 ml shortfill
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Pick the 30 ml shortfill that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Coil type inside the 30 ml shortfill, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Stock depth: 10 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Batch code and production date, so a tobacco bottle turned in 2 weeks ago is not sold as new.
Where tobacco goes wrong
- Treating the advertised FJ$61 entry kit as the real cost when refills run FJ$2.43 per 10 ml.
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Ignoring the batch date on a 30 ml shortfill and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
