Tobacco 30 ml shortfill IQOS in Suva: the price shortlist
Tobacco in Suva: 12 units tested over 7 weeks, 30 ml shortfill formats, priced per 10 ml for Fiji.
Stock, batch codes and the dispatch window
If you are looking at tobacco in Fiji, the first question is not strength. It is whether the 30 ml shortfill you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
We run tobacco the same way in Suva: same 30 ml shortfill, same 7 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
The short version: tobacco in Suva works if the 30 ml shortfill, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a tobacco 30 ml shortfill really costs in Suva
A tobacco 30 ml shortfill from the value options in Fiji costs about FJ$3.38 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
How we tested tobacco in a 30 ml shortfill
- Pick the 30 ml shortfill that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Fiji, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 6–12 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Batch code and production date, so a tobacco bottle turned in 7 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Spare parts availability for 30 ml shortfill in Fiji, since tanks and pods go first.
Where tobacco goes wrong
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in Fiji accept nicotine freight.
- Treating the advertised FJ$53 entry kit as the real cost when refills run FJ$3.38 per 10 ml.
- Ignoring the batch date on a 30 ml shortfill and discovering the listed price was for old stock.

On the last run in Suva: about FJ$3.38 per 10 ml liquid plus FJ$53 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
