Ordering IQOS to Suva: the practical version
We run tobacco the same way in Suva: same refill pack, same 6 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.

The short version: tobacco in Suva works if the refill pack, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a tobacco refill pack really costs in Suva
Tobacco in Suva reaches the shelf in refill pack formats, and the online ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
How we tested tobacco in a refill pack
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Pick the refill pack that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Fiji, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every tobacco bottle shipped into Fiji.
- Stock depth: 11 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a refill pack arrives sealed but wrong.
- Coil type inside the refill pack, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
Where tobacco goes wrong
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long tobacco in Suva survives.
- Buying the cheapest refill pack available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Treating the advertised FJ$40 entry kit as the real cost when refills run FJ$1.91 per 10 ml.
The rules that apply here
Retail sales in Fiji sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.
Fiji restricts imports of nicotine products under its customs framework.

Frequently asked questions
How much does a refill pack cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in Suva: about FJ$1.91 per 10 ml liquid plus FJ$40 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
What nicotine strength should tobacco start at?
Start at whatever Fiji allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a refill pack.
How long does tobacco in a refill pack last?
In Suva we measured 6 to 11 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
