Tropical 100 ml bottle IQOS in Suva: the cheap shortlist
Tropical in Suva: 19 units tested over 4 weeks, 100 ml bottle formats, priced per 10 ml for Fiji.
Delivery, returns and what 6–12 business days really means
Tropical in a 100 ml bottle is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Suva the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
A tropical 100 ml bottle from the cheapest options in Fiji costs about FJ$1.93 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
If you only read one line: the 100 ml bottle you buy decides how long tropical tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.

How we tested tropical in a 100 ml bottle
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Fiji, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Pick the 100 ml bottle that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 6–12 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every tropical bottle shipped into Fiji.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a 100 ml bottle arrives sealed but wrong.
- Stock depth: 19 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
Where tropical goes wrong
- Buying the cheapest 100 ml bottle available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in Fiji accept nicotine freight.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why tropical tastes flat after two days.
The rules that apply here
Retail sales in Fiji sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.
Packaging for tropical in Fiji must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.

Frequently asked questions
How long does tropical in a 100 ml bottle last?
In Suva we measured 4 to 19 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
Why does tropical taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the 100 ml bottle units we ran, a coil past 5 days turned the tropical blend itself harsh.
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On tropical the budget price and the premium price can sit within FJ$1.93 per 10 ml once 6–12 business days is counted.
