Tropical 30 ml shortfill IQOS in Suva: the budget shortlist
Tropical in Suva: 24 units tested over 9 weeks, 30 ml shortfill formats, priced per 10 ml for Fiji.
What the label on Tropical is allowed to say
Tropical 30 ml shortfill reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 24 units and 9 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
Ordering into Suva usually means waiting 6–12 business days. Plan the reorder around that, not around the flavour you like best.
If you only read one line: the 30 ml shortfill you buy decides how long tropical tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a tropical 30 ml shortfill really costs in Suva
Tropical in Suva reaches the shelf in 30 ml shortfill formats, and the budget ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
How we tested tropical in a 30 ml shortfill
- Pick the 30 ml shortfill that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Fiji, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Batch code and production date, so a tropical bottle turned in 9 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 6–12 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Stock depth: 24 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
Where tropical goes wrong
- Treating the advertised FJ$51 entry kit as the real cost when refills run FJ$3.58 per 10 ml.
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in Fiji accept nicotine freight.
- Ignoring the batch date on a 30 ml shortfill and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
The rules that apply here
Wholesale lines to Fiji need import documents the retail shop does not; ask for them in writing before a bulk order.
Fiji restricts imports of nicotine products under its customs framework. Shipping of nicotine to Fiji runs through tracked freight only, which is why the quoted window is stated per order.

Frequently asked questions
What nicotine strength should tropical start at?
Start at whatever Fiji allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a 30 ml shortfill.
How much does a 30 ml shortfill cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in Suva: about FJ$3.58 per 10 ml liquid plus FJ$51 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
Why does tropical taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the 30 ml shortfill units we ran, a coil past 5 days turned the tropical blend itself harsh.
