Tropical box mod IQOS in Suva: the compare shortlist
Tropical in Suva: 13 units tested over 6 weeks, box mod formats, priced per 10 ml for Fiji.
Ordering IQOS to Suva: the practical version
Tropical sounds like one product. It is not: a box mod running varies will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
Tropical in a box mod is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Suva the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
If you only read one line: the box mod you buy decides how long tropical tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a tropical box mod really costs in Suva
Tropical in a box mod is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Suva the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
How we tested tropical in a box mod
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Fiji, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in Fiji, not a suggestion.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a box mod arrives sealed but wrong.
- Batch code and production date, so a tropical bottle turned in 6 weeks ago is not sold as new.
Where tropical goes wrong
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in Fiji accept nicotine freight.
- Ignoring the batch date on a box mod and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Treating the advertised FJ$48 entry kit as the real cost when refills run FJ$2.89 per 10 ml.
The rules that apply here
Wholesale lines to Fiji need import documents the retail shop does not; ask for them in writing before a bulk order.
Packaging for tropical in Fiji must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.
