Tropical cartomizer IQOS in Suva: the review shortlist
Tropical in Suva: 10 units tested over 8 weeks, cartomizer formats, priced per 10 ml for Fiji.
Coil life, liquid cost and the tropical habit
A tropical cartomizer from the reviewed options in Fiji costs about FJ$2.35 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
Tropical sounds like one product. It is not: a cartomizer running varies will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
If you only read one line: the cartomizer you buy decides how long tropical tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a tropical cartomizer really costs in Suva
If you are looking at tropical in Fiji, the first question is not strength. It is whether the cartomizer you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
How we tested tropical in a cartomizer
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Fiji, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in Fiji, not a suggestion.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a cartomizer arrives sealed but wrong.
Where tropical goes wrong
- Mixing tropical with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why tropical tastes flat after two days.
- Treating the advertised FJ$68 entry kit as the real cost when refills run FJ$2.35 per 10 ml.

Frequently asked questions
Can I order IQOS online in Fiji?
Yes, tracked dispatch before 14:00, and delivery lands in 6–12 business days. Stock is batch-traced, so the bottle you receive carries a dated code.
Why does tropical taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the cartomizer units we ran, a coil past 6 days turned the tropical blend itself harsh.
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On tropical the budget price and the premium price can sit within FJ$2.35 per 10 ml once 6–12 business days is counted.
