Tropical squonk mod IQOS in Suva: the deals shortlist
Tropical in Suva: 7 units tested over 6 weeks, squonk mod formats, priced per 10 ml for Fiji.
How we tested Tropical squonk mod here
The honest read on tropical: 7 units through the same routine over 6 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
There is no single best way to buy IQOS in Fiji. There is only the batch that arrived, the coil that came with it, and whether the shop tracks the production run.
The short version: tropical in Suva works if the squonk mod, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a tropical squonk mod really costs in Suva
We run tropical the same way in Suva: same squonk mod, same 6 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
How we tested tropical in a squonk mod
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Pick the squonk mod that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 6–12 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Coil type inside the squonk mod, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Batch code and production date, so a tropical bottle turned in 6 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Stock depth: 7 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
Where tropical goes wrong
- Treating the advertised FJ$36 entry kit as the real cost when refills run FJ$2.53 per 10 ml.
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Ignoring the batch date on a squonk mod and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
