Tropical squonk mod IQOS in Suva: the guide shortlist
Tropical in Suva: 21 units tested over 9 weeks, squonk mod formats, priced per 10 ml for Fiji.
What the label on Tropical is allowed to say
If you are looking at tropical in Fiji, the first question is not strength. It is whether the squonk mod you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
Tropical in Suva reaches the shelf in squonk mod formats, and the starter ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
If you only read one line: the squonk mod you buy decides how long tropical tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a tropical squonk mod really costs in Suva
We run tropical the same way in Suva: same squonk mod, same 9 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
How we tested tropical in a squonk mod
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Fiji, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Pick the squonk mod that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every tropical bottle shipped into Fiji.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 6–12 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Spare parts availability for squonk mod in Fiji, since tanks and pods go first.
- Coil type inside the squonk mod, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
Where tropical goes wrong
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why tropical tastes flat after two days.
- Buying the cheapest squonk mod available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Ignoring the batch date on a squonk mod and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
The rules that apply here

Frequently asked questions
What nicotine strength should tropical start at?
Start at whatever Fiji allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a squonk mod.
Why does tropical taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the squonk mod units we ran, a coil past 7 days turned the tropical blend itself harsh.
Is tropical legal to sell in Fiji?
Fiji restricts imports of nicotine products under its customs framework.
