Tropical starter kit IQOS in Suva: the wholesale shortlist
Tropical in Suva: 10 units tested over 3 weeks, starter kit formats, priced per 10 ml for Fiji.
Ordering IQOS to Suva: the practical version
Tropical in a starter kit is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Suva the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
A tropical starter kit from the bulk options in Fiji costs about FJ$2.78 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
Below is the run we did for this search: 10 units, starter kit, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a tropical starter kit really costs in Suva

How we tested tropical in a starter kit
- Pick the starter kit that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every tropical bottle shipped into Fiji.
- Spare parts availability for starter kit in Fiji, since tanks and pods go first.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in Fiji, not a suggestion.
- Batch code and production date, so a tropical bottle turned in 3 weeks ago is not sold as new.
Where tropical goes wrong
- Ignoring the batch date on a starter kit and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why tropical tastes flat after two days.
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long tropical in Suva survives.

Frequently asked questions
Why does tropical taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the starter kit units we ran, a coil past 4 days turned the tropical blend itself harsh.
How long does tropical in a starter kit last?
In Suva we measured 3 to 10 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
