Vanilla 30 ml shortfill IQOS in Suva: the price shortlist
Vanilla in Suva: 7 units tested over 9 weeks, 30 ml shortfill formats, priced per 10 ml for Fiji.
How to tell a good 30 ml shortfill from a repack
We run vanilla the same way in Suva: same 30 ml shortfill, same 9 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
There is no single best way to buy IQOS in Fiji. There is only the batch that arrived, the coil that came with it, and whether the shop tracks the production run.
The short version: vanilla in Suva works if the 30 ml shortfill, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a vanilla 30 ml shortfill really costs in Suva
Most people searching IQOS in Fiji are not after a spec sheet. They want to know what it costs, how long it lasts and which shop will still service it in three months.
How we tested vanilla in a 30 ml shortfill
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Fiji, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Pick the 30 ml shortfill that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every vanilla bottle shipped into Fiji.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in Fiji, not a suggestion.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
Where vanilla goes wrong
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why vanilla tastes flat after two days.
- Chasing a discount on a 30 ml shortfill that then needs an adapter nobody in Fiji stocks.
- Mixing vanilla with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
The rules that apply here
Wholesale lines to Fiji need import documents the retail shop does not; ask for them in writing before a bulk order.
Fiji restricts imports of nicotine products under its customs framework. Shipping of nicotine to Fiji runs through tracked freight only, which is why the quoted window is stated per order.

| Entry kit | FJ$31 | What a first order really pays |
| Refill cost | FJ$3.29 / 10 ml | The figure that decides the habit |

Frequently asked questions
Is vanilla legal to sell in Fiji?
Fiji restricts imports of nicotine products under its customs framework.
Why does vanilla taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the 30 ml shortfill units we ran, a coil past 7 days turned the vanilla blend itself harsh.
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On vanilla the budget price and the premium price can sit within FJ$3.29 per 10 ml once 6–12 business days is counted.
