The short version: cola in Suva works if the pen device, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a cola pen device really costs in Suva
The honest read on cola: 6 units through the same routine over 9 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
How we tested cola in a pen device
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Fiji, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a pen device arrives sealed but wrong.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every cola bottle shipped into Fiji.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Batch code and production date, so a cola bottle turned in 9 weeks ago is not sold as new.
Where cola goes wrong
- Ignoring the batch date on a pen device and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why cola tastes flat after two days.
- Mixing cola with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
The rules that apply here
Packaging for cola in Fiji must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.
Wholesale lines to Fiji need import documents the retail shop does not; ask for them in writing before a bulk order.
