The short version: plain in Suva works if the nicotine salt bottle, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a plain nicotine salt bottle really costs in Suva
The honest read on plain: 19 units through the same routine over 9 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
How we tested plain in a nicotine salt bottle
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Fiji, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Pick the nicotine salt bottle that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in Fiji, not a suggestion.
- Batch code and production date, so a plain bottle turned in 9 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Stock depth: 19 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a nicotine salt bottle arrives sealed but wrong.
Where plain goes wrong
- Ignoring the batch date on a nicotine salt bottle and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long plain in Suva survives.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why plain tastes flat after two days.
