Plain prefilled pod IQOS in Suva: the deals shortlist
Plain in Suva: 20 units tested over 5 weeks, prefilled pod formats, priced per 10 ml for Fiji.
Ordering IQOS to Suva: the practical version
There is no single best way to buy IQOS in Fiji. There is only the batch that arrived, the coil that came with it, and whether the shop tracks the production run.
Plain prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Suva that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within FJ$2.65 per 10 ml.
The short version: plain in Suva works if the prefilled pod, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a plain prefilled pod really costs in Suva
Plain prefilled pod reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 20 units and 5 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
How we tested plain in a prefilled pod
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Fiji, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Stock depth: 20 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 6–12 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in Fiji, not a suggestion.
Where plain goes wrong
- Treating the advertised FJ$63 entry kit as the real cost when refills run FJ$2.65 per 10 ml.
- Ignoring the batch date on a prefilled pod and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
The rules that apply here
Fiji restricts imports of nicotine products under its customs framework. Shipping of nicotine to Fiji runs through tracked freight only, which is why the quoted window is stated per order.
Packaging for plain in Fiji must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.
