What a sourcherry RDA really costs in Suva
A sourcherry RDA from the best options in Fiji costs about FJ$3.59 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
How we tested sourcherry in a RDA
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Fiji, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Pick the RDA that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Batch code and production date, so a sourcherry bottle turned in 9 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in Fiji, not a suggestion.
- Stock depth: 22 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
Where sourcherry goes wrong
- Buying the cheapest RDA available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Mixing sourcherry with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Treating the advertised FJ$52 entry kit as the real cost when refills run FJ$3.59 per 10 ml.
The rules that apply here
Fiji restricts imports of nicotine products under its customs framework. Shipping of nicotine to Fiji runs through tracked freight only, which is why the quoted window is stated per order.
Retail sales in Fiji sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.

Frequently asked questions
How long does sourcherry in a RDA last?
In Suva we measured 9 to 22 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
Why does sourcherry taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the RDA units we ran, a coil past 6 days turned the sourcherry blend itself harsh.
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On sourcherry the budget price and the premium price can sit within FJ$3.59 per 10 ml once 6–12 business days is counted.
