Tobacco 10 ml bottle IQOS in Suva: the flat shortlist
Tobacco in Suva: 20 units tested over 9 weeks, 10 ml bottle formats, priced per 10 ml for Fiji.
Coil life, liquid cost and the tobacco habit
We run tobacco the same way in Suva: same 10 ml bottle, same 9 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
There is no single best way to buy IQOS in Fiji. There is only the batch that arrived, the coil that came with it, and whether the shop tracks the production run.
The short version: tobacco in Suva works if the 10 ml bottle, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a tobacco 10 ml bottle really costs in Suva
Tobacco prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Suva that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within FJ$3.59 per 10 ml.
How we tested tobacco in a 10 ml bottle
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Pick the 10 ml bottle that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 6–12 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a 10 ml bottle arrives sealed but wrong.
- Batch code and production date, so a tobacco bottle turned in 9 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Spare parts availability for 10 ml bottle in Fiji, since tanks and pods go first.
Where tobacco goes wrong
- Buying the cheapest 10 ml bottle available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Ignoring the batch date on a 10 ml bottle and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Mixing tobacco with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
The rules that apply here
Fiji restricts imports of nicotine products under its customs framework.
Retail sales in Fiji sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.
