Tobacco pen device IQOS in Suva: the compare shortlist
Tobacco in Suva: 7 units tested over 5 weeks, pen device formats, priced per 10 ml for Fiji.
How we tested Tobacco pen device here
Tobacco in a pen device is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Suva the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
Tobacco in Suva reaches the shelf in pen device formats, and the compared ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
The short version: tobacco in Suva works if the pen device, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a tobacco pen device really costs in Suva
There is no single best way to buy IQOS in Fiji. There is only the batch that arrived, the coil that came with it, and whether the shop tracks the production run.
How we tested tobacco in a pen device
- Pick the pen device that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Fiji, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Spare parts availability for pen device in Fiji, since tanks and pods go first.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every tobacco bottle shipped into Fiji.
- Coil type inside the pen device, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in Fiji, not a suggestion.
Where tobacco goes wrong
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in Fiji accept nicotine freight.
- Mixing tobacco with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Treating the advertised FJ$52 entry kit as the real cost when refills run FJ$2.83 per 10 ml.
The rules that apply here
Fiji restricts imports of nicotine products under its customs framework. Shipping of nicotine to Fiji runs through tracked freight only, which is why the quoted window is stated per order.

Frequently asked questions
How long does tobacco in a pen device last?
In Suva we measured 5 to 7 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
Do you ship tracked orders to Fiji?
Yes, tracked to 6–12 business days, with the same-day cut-off at 14:00. Bulk orders get an import note attached before dispatch.
Why does tobacco taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the pen device units we ran, a coil past 5 days turned the tobacco blend itself harsh.
