Tobacco pen device IQOS in Suva: the flat shortlist
Tobacco in Suva: 8 units tested over 5 weeks, pen device formats, priced per 10 ml for Fiji.
What tobacco costs in Suva
Tobacco in a pen device is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Suva the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
Tobacco in Suva reaches the shelf in pen device formats, and the flat-rate ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
If you only read one line: the pen device you buy decides how long tobacco tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a tobacco pen device really costs in Suva
Tobacco in a pen device is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Suva the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
How we tested tobacco in a pen device
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Pick the pen device that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Fiji, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Batch code and production date, so a tobacco bottle turned in 5 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every tobacco bottle shipped into Fiji.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a pen device arrives sealed but wrong.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 6–12 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
Where tobacco goes wrong
- Chasing a discount on a pen device that then needs an adapter nobody in Fiji stocks.
- Treating the advertised FJ$51 entry kit as the real cost when refills run FJ$2.57 per 10 ml.
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long tobacco in Suva survives.
The rules that apply here
Packaging for tobacco in Fiji must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.
Fiji restricts imports of nicotine products under its customs framework. Shipping of nicotine to Fiji runs through tracked freight only, which is why the quoted window is stated per order.

Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the pen device units we ran, a coil past 4 days turned the tobacco blend itself harsh.
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On tobacco the budget price and the premium price can sit within FJ$2.57 per 10 ml once 6–12 business days is counted.
Do you ship tracked orders to Fiji?
Yes, tracked to 6–12 business days, with the same-day cut-off at 14:00. Bulk orders get an import note attached before dispatch.
