The honest read on sour: 11 units through the same routine over 3 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
The short version: sour in Suva works if the prefilled pod, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a sour prefilled pod really costs in Suva
Sour prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Suva that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within FJ$3.56 per 10 ml.
How we tested sour in a prefilled pod
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Pick the prefilled pod that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 6–12 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Spare parts availability for prefilled pod in Fiji, since tanks and pods go first.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a prefilled pod arrives sealed but wrong.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
Where sour goes wrong
- Ignoring the batch date on a prefilled pod and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in Fiji accept nicotine freight.
- Buying the cheapest prefilled pod available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
